In 2007, Corliss left the security of her Washington, D.C. cubicle and took a chance on herself, building Manifest Consulting Group (MCG) from the ground up. What began as an entrepreneurial leap grew into a multimillion-dollar consulting and government contracting firm that surpassed $3 million in annual revenue. Through MCG, Corliss has supported federal, state, and local organizations and helped develop leaders at the highest levels of the federal government, including Senior Executive Service leaders and candidates. Her work has spanned executive coaching, leadership development, human capital strategy, training, staffing, workforce planning, and organizational performance.

That experience has shaped the way Corliss approaches business growth today. She understands that sustainable growth requires more than working harder—it requires the right people, strong leadership, smart systems, clear priorities, and disciplined execution.

Through VA+, Corliss helps entrepreneurs connect people, technology, and strategy to manifest growth. She works with business owners to build the capacity, systems, and support needed to scale while allowing them to focus their time and energy on their highest and best use—leadership, strategy, relationships, and growth. Through Boss-Builders, Corliss also advises aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs on franchise ownership and business acquisition. She helps clients evaluate opportunities, understand business models, navigate due diligence, and make ownership decisions that align with their goals, lifestyle, financial objectives, and long-term vision.

Corliss began her career in public service, including leadership roles at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission. She is a published author, a Certified Federal Career Strategist®, and has helped tens of thousands of professionals advance their careers. She earned a Master of Public Administration from The Ohio State University and a bachelor’s

degree in Urban and Public Policy from the University at Buffalo.
